The King speaks today: Let Freedom Ring

“If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”

“I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”

“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.’”

set_martin_luther_king_quote7

“True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.”

“Every man of humane convictions must decide on the protest that best suits his convictions, but we must all protest.”

set_martin_luther_king_quote5

“Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the revolutionary spirit and go out into a sometimes hostile world declaring eternal hostility to poverty, racism, and militarism.”

“I’ll tell you, I’ve seen the lightning flash. I’ve heard the thunder roll. I felt sin-breakers dashing, trying to conquer my soul. But I heard the voice of Jesus saying still to fight on.”

set_martin_luther_king_quote1

“I often feel like saying, when I hear the question ‘People aren’t ready,’ that it’s like telling a person who is trying to swim, ‘Don’t jump in that water until you learn how to swim.’ When actually you will never learn how to swim until you get in the water.”

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”

set_martin_luther_king_quote4

“No one really knows why they are alive until they know what they’d die for.”

Abraham-Lincoln-quote-..

“On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, ‘Is it safe?’ Expediency asks the question, ‘Is it politic?’ And Vanity comes along and asks the question, ‘Is it popular?’ But Conscience asks the question ‘Is it right?’ And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because Conscience tells him it is right.”

“The ultimate test of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and moments of convenience, but where he stands in moments of challenge and moments of controversy.”

“In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.”

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

So I’m bored and decide to step outside my comfort zone, my daily study; as a writer my resource and what I could afford even as a small child was always the Bible or as my grandma Cora Bell told me, ” Baby its Jesus, He is the living Word..

I watch television but rarely do I peer into what’s considered trendy now by reading articles.

I understand judging is a heavier tax upon oneself, it is like you raising your hand to God and saying, ” Lord this is serious because he or she is doing this and you should do something about it..” …”or I look down on them because I currently have more so you should punish them, deprive because I do not feel they deserve it.”

We do not realize He sees all sin when He looks in your direction, yours and theirs…..oh yes the person raising their hand who alarmed the bell, who allowed the accuser of the brethern to come in and use them too to stand accused…

Forgetting the Father of Grace
That allowed His Son to take our place

Somewhere the lie was that God had not allowed Mercy and it lay muddled in the mangled and blood stained Cross
And His blood had not paid the cost.

It is a tricky business to be in
Turn for, friend or family into enemy
Over very simple things

So the brief curiosity to peek in
Ended up sending me 8870b13ad161c1642c608b1570491819back into the right and Christ Risen Book

The get right or get left plight

The true superhero that saved my life said
Not to miss heaven for the worldAnd since

It has every plot, every sensual sequence of both passion and love. Hate and envy, coveting, lying to gain position, possession. Wars predicted that came true….. A fascinating living Word that I call King Jesus…..

I recommend reading the word of God to get the word of God, His Son into your heart.
Hands down my favorite book, which includes the Jewish books not in the standardized English translation.

The heart tells no tales

I have met some beautifully ugly people while growing up, observing and reporting.

Notice the outside is not a reflection of the inside

When you do, edit… a wounded woman or man wears a banner saying beautifully broken,

Remember the words tell on the heart

Are some good pretenders too that know the word of truth but pervert it for prophet, like Bar Jesus….

Orange City Twins Charged After Throwing Bricks At Each Other
Published: May 26, 2015 |
Twin 52-year-old brothers are facing the same charge after throwing bricks at each other during an argument, Orange City police said.
Michael and James Remelius were arguing with each other in the front yard of a home in the 600 block of Howard Avenue about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday when Michael picked up a brick and threatened to throw it at his brother, according to a police report. James then picked up a brick in a threatening manner.
